Show Description: As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can't control, a destiny he doesn't want, and a mythology textbook's worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus's master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him. Adapted from the best-selling book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and featuring a thrilling original rock score, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is an action-packed mythical adventure "worthy of the gods" (Time Out New York).

General Tips for Video Auditions**:
Make sure the video is lit properly. Not too dark, not too light. An option to ensure your video is properly exposed, stand facing a window that is not receiving direct sunlight.
Make sure that you are using an iPhone 8 or above, or a video camera. Stabilizing your camera and having a good picture are two important factors to ensure that we are focused on your presentation, not visibility.
The camera angle should be coming down on you, not pointing up at you and the frame of the picture ends about 6 inches above your head and just below your waistline. (When you relax your arms all the way down, we should be able to see your fingertips.)
**These are suggestions and by no means will affect our casting decision. Please submit your video whether or not you can fulfill the above suggestions. We want to see the best representation of you!
